Liver Cleanse

Consider below detoxification program for cleansing the  liver and gall bladder of gallstones to enhance your liver function, improve digestive system and keep your body healthy:

Ingredients For Liver Cleanse

  • 1 dose of Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit juice – orange, apple, grapefruit, lime or lemon
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) fresh grapefruit juice (if unavailable, use orange, lime or lemon)
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 dose of  Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit juice
  • 2 glasses warm water
  • 2-3 glasses rejuvenation drink (see below)

Note:

1 dose of Epsom Salt : 20-35kg=2 tspn ; 35-45kg=3 tspn ; 45-65kg=4 tspn; 65-75kg=5 tspn ; 80+kg=6 tspn)

Liver Cleansing Method

Evening – Select a day when you will be free the next morning.

  • Before 06:00 pm – Follow a normal diet but eat lightly. Avoid taking medicines, supplements or pills that you can do without.
  • 06:00-07:00 pm  – Start fasting but water or freshly squeezed fruit juices can be taken.
  • 09:00 pm – Mix 1 dose of Epsom Salt into fresh fruit juice and drink.
  • 09:45 pm -  Mix the grapefruit juice and olive oil in a bottle and shake well. Prepare for bed.
  • 10:00 pm – Drink the oil mixture STANDING UP. You may use a straw. Lie flat on your back immediately after drinking and be still for at least 20 minutes. After that, you may turn onto a comfortable side to go to sleep.

Following Morning

  • 06:00 am -  Mix 1/2 dose of Epsom Salt  into fresh fruit juice and drink , followed with 2 glasses of warm water. (Optional – You may skip this step if you have had 5 bowel movements)
  • Expect 3-5 watery bowel movements in the morning. If the motion is excessive – exceeding 5 excretions – take a slice of bread to halt the bowel action.
  • After purging – Food can be taken after your first  bowel motion.  Favor fresh foods and rejuvenation drinks.

Note: The elderly and children can begin the procedure at 6.00 am to avoid frequent urination at night.

Rejuvenation Drinks

  • Fresh coconut water.
  • Honey in warm water.
  • Mix 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon black salt or sea salt and 1-2 teaspoons jaggery or unrefined sugar + warm water.
  • Black beans + 3 types of dates (red dates, black dates and honey dates) + dried mandarin peel boiled for over an hour.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of Triphala ( powder made from 3 fruits and rich in Vitamin C) in a glass of hot water, drink when cool.
